Plazacorp announces officer appointments

FREDERICTON, June 2 /CNW/ - Plazacorp Retail Properties Ltd. (PLZ:TSX Venture) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lynda M Savoie, B.B.A., C.A. as Treasurer and Kimberly A. Wylde, B.A., LL.B. as Secretary and Corporate Counsel.

Ms. Savoie joined Plazacorp in 1998 and has held various roles within the Company, most recently as Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining Plazacorp, Ms. Savoie was employed by a national accounting firm. Ms. Savoie received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1996.

Ms. Wylde joined Plazacorp in 2007 and since that time has held the role of Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining Plazacorp, Ms. Wylde practiced law as an associate with a major Atlantic Canadian law firm. Ms. Wylde is a member of the New Brunswick Bar.

Plazacorp Retail Properties Ltd. is an owner of shopping malls and strip plazas throughout the Atlantic Provinces, Quebec and Ontario. Plazacorp, June 2, 2010 now owns interests in 102 properties comprising 4.6 million square feet of retail real estate.
