Plaza Retail REIT announces the election of its board of trustees

FREDERICTON, NB, May 29, 2017 /CNW/ - Plaza Retail REIT ("Plaza") (TSX:PLZ.UN) is pleased to announce that each of the nominees proposed for election in its management information circular dated March 24, 2017 was elected at Plaza's annual meeting of unitholders held in Fredericton, NB on May 25, 2017 (the "Meeting").
The total number of trust units and special voting units represented by unitholders present in person or by proxy at the Meeting was 59,307,831, representing 57.95% of Plaza's issued and outstanding trust units and special voting units.
The detailed results of the votes cast in person by way of ballot and by proxy on the election of each trustee were as follows:
